Open-World w/ Xela

Open-World explores a wide range of spaces on the thresholds between contemporary electronic music and provincial, folk traditions across the globe. Each episode will focus on a particular sound, usually outside the bubble of western commercialized, ‘global’ music categorizations. Expect anything from Dabke, to Cumbia, Kwaito, Séga, Raï, Bhangra, Funaná and more in between and beyond.
